Higher stakes now held by AMP in listed companies Updated at 12:37 pm today AMP's purchase of AXA has lifted its stakes in a number of listed companies, including Fletcher Building and Fisher Paykel Appliances. The funds managment arm of AMP Capital Investors, has swallowed AXA's investments as part of the deal. The Australian-owned fund manager now owns 7% of Fletcher Building, and 6.3% of Fisher Paykel Appliances. The company has a 20.3% stake in Skellerup and a 9.5% holding in Rakon. Lluesty Hospital in North Wales sold at auction for “£275,000 in February. The classical building, which is set around a court yard and complete with a parapet, was bought by property developers who plan to build 70 houses in its 7.4 acre grounds. Ky. hands over its lethal injection drug to DEA, Arkansas listed

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky has turned over its supply of a key lethal injection drug to the federal Drug Enforcement Administration. Kentucky Justice Department spokeswoman Jennifer Brislin said in a statement Friday that the state turned over its supply of sodium thiopental to be used as evidence in a case in another jurisdiction.
