Firefighters battle blaze at NY concert hall

Associated Press NEW YORK — Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at the Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan. Fire officials say the blaze was reported at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the mezzanine level. THE former Brighouse Town Hall is under new ownership after being sold at auction for £136,000. The part-tenanted Grade II listed building generates rental income of £7,840, giving the buyer a return of nearly 6%.
