Thorntons warns of poor Christmas sales

Shares in Thorntons fell 6 per cent on Wednesday after the chocolatier blamed “weak consumer confidence and adverse weather” for poor sales over the Christmas period and a decline in pre-tax profit.

Guggenheim partners takes 46% in AIM-listed infra India
