Many Civil War anniversary events are planned in Rome

slideshow The Greater Rome Convention Visitors Bureau has announced the complete 2011 schedule of local events commemorating the Civil War. This year begins a five-year period of commemoration of Rome’s Civil War heritage during the 150th anniversary of the war.Two series have been planned — an ongoing symposium series and Spirits of the Civil War tours. NY broker lists Boyds complex

A New York City broker has been retained by Boyds Collection Ltd. to sell a five-level barn and 125-acre property in Cumberland Township. The Newmark Knight Frank Capital Group, described as an “exclusive broker,” is trying to find a developer to take over the retail store near Gettysburg, including its 125,000 square-foot barn.
