Ghost River Crossing sells for $4.2M

The historic Ghost River Crossing, a well-known executive retreat and training centre near Cochrane, has been sold, the Herald has learned. Larry Shelley, president and chief executive of Coril Holdings Ltd., confirmed the company has bought the property. Chairman of Coril is prominent Calgary businessman Ron Mannix. Listed for sale in Dana Point's Lantern Village is a home for sale that was originally built by the creator of the 1980s television show "The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin," according to listing agent Samantha Gorrell of ZipRealty. The creator, Ken Forsse, initially invented the animatronic, talking teddy bear Teddy Ruxpin and later the TV show involving the bear. A new ABC News poll lists Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels as a Republican who could win the presidential nomination for his party.
