Italy's Newron Pharmaceuticals Said to Be in Talks for a Sale to Santhera

Newron Pharmaceuticals SpA, the Italian company developing a drug for Parkinson’s disease with Merck KGaA, is in talks to be bought by Santhera Pharmaceuticals Holding AG, a person familiar with the situation said. PROFIT warnings issued by West Midlands listed businesses in 2010 is the lowest number it has been for four years, with only 16 warnings announced, new research has shown. Tax privilege extension for MAI-listed firms mulled

The tax privileges allow the listed companies to pay only 20 per cent of corporate income as tax, against the national rate of 30 per cent.
