Listed water firm borrowing P10B to fund higher capex
Manila Water Chief Financial Officer Luis Juan B. Oreta told reporters the company was planning to borrow locally to fund a higher capex for the year.
“We need to raise around P10 billion and we plan to raise funding locally. Our capex for the year will include funding for projects including looking for new water sources,� said Mr. Oreta in an interview at the sidelines of the inauguration of a new sewage treatment plant.

Caixa May Shift Banking to Listed Holding Company Criteria
La Caixa, the second-biggest Spanish
savings bank, may shift its banking business to Criteria
CaixaCorp SA, its publicly traded holding company.
The boards of the two companies will meet today to analyze
and possibly approve such a step, Barcelona-based Criteria said

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Private equity firm Carlyle Group CYL.UL said it would buy Dutch-based private equity fund of funds AlpInvest Partners, Europe's largest, to bulk up its product menu and attract more money from investors.
