Our weekly column and news items are posted under News/Announcement. Photos and new materials are being added by our volunteer webpage editor Eileen Pecan. We certainly appreciate her willingness to learn this as we go along.

On a personal note, I have just received a wonderful personalized photo book which includes memories from all of the 25 years that I have been part of the Hamilton Public Library. This thoughtful gift was created by our Story Time parents with the help of staff and the Friends of the Library.

At the back of the book are blank pages for signatures. Nothing would please me more than having you add your name to one of these pages. We will leave the book at the front desk for browsing and signing.

The library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3, in observance of Labor Day.

The library is usually open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Please call the library at 315-824-3060 during these hours for assistance. The book drop on Broad Street is always open for your convenience. Check the library’s Facebook account or webpage for up-to-date information about programs and special events.
