Hakeem Odofin has, as had been expected but wasn’t actually the case when it was reported it was, completed his move to Wolves.

Martin Allen wasn’t expecting Odofin to stay with Barnet for too long, which he hadn’t, with him joining the Championship side 18-months after his arrival following his release by Reading.

As you would expect he leaves with the clubs thanks and best wishes.

Set to follow the 17-year-old out of the door is Mathew Stevens, who has turned down a new contract and that’s seen him ‘made available for transfer.’ The likes of Man United and Man City have been linked with the striker, with Crystal Palace reportedly having a bid rejected last year with Swansea also interest.

He’ll now leave sooner or later with the Official Website confirming he’s been transfer-listed after turning down a new contract.

A brief statement read.

‘Barnet FC can announce that Mathew Stevens has been made available for transfer. The striker has turned down a second offer of a new contract from the club. He has therefore been made available for transfer as of today.’
