Roman Court sale, Martin real estate deals listed in Roman Record

Monday’s edition of the Roman Record highlights several large commercial real estate deals completed the week before Christmas.

The sale of the Roman Court assisted living facility at 1168 Chulio Road was closed for $44 million. The Verizon property at Turner McCall Blvd. and Broad Street was sold from one corporate entity to another for more than $2 million.

Larry C. Martin transferred more than a dozen properties to Synovus Bank, according to deed records, which will be listed in Monday’s Roman Record.

Two residential real estate transfers, valued at more than $200,000, were closed during the preceding week.

The Rome Floyd Building Inspection office issued only a dozen buildings permits during the week leading up to Christmas. The largest permit for the week was issued to Goodman Networks for a cell tower upgrade on Martha Berry Highway.
