France: Deauville makes history today when it holds the first French fast-track qualifier for the All-Weather Championships at Lingfield on Good Friday.

The Listed Prix Miss Satamixa on the Polytrack has a full field of 16 runners chasing €52,000, with three British-trained contenders vying for a place in the £150,000 32Red.com Fillies and Mares Championship over 7f on April 3.

Gay Kelleway saddles Stosur, a mile winner at Cagnes in January, and Clive Cox runs Stereo Love, who was beaten in the Hyde Stakes at Kempton last month.

James Tate is hoping Lamar can go one better than on her last attempt to gain fast-track entry, when she was beaten a neck by Godolphin’s Tearless at Lingfield in October.

The Newmarket trainer, who has booked Davy Bonilla to ride, said: “She’s in good form. We gave her a break in the summer following three hardish races in the Nell Gwyn [fourth], 1,000 Guineas [tenth] and Sandringham [seventh] at Royal Ascot, all of which she ran well in.

“She was bit flat and we wanted to have an autumn campaign. She’s a great big filly and hard to get fit – we got her ready for the Lingfield Listed race but there are not many Listed events for fillies at around a mile.”
