Bonfire Night is just around the corner and there are a number of displays happening in and around Wrexham for people to attend this year! 

November 5th falls on a Wednesday so some bonfire events will be taking place the weekend before (2nd 3rd). Expect to see the usual offering of bonfire, fireworks and fairground rides not to mention toffee apples and candy floss!

Bonfire Night will mark the run up to the festive period with the Christmas Light Switch on just over two weeks later, not to mention a Victorian Market, Santa’s Grotto and many more events both in the town centre and wider Wrexham area.

Firework Display Halloween Disco

Location: Clappers Lane Gresford

Date: Friday 31st October 2014

Time: Punch and Judy at 6:30pn and Fireworks at 7:15

Details: The Gresford Athletic community firework display is being held on Friday 31st October 2014. Gates open at 6pm, entry is £4 for adults, £2 for children and £10 for family entry.

The event commences with a Punch and Judy Show at 6:30pm. After the display there will be a kids Halloween Disco where prizes will be awarded to the best costume worn. There will of course be a licensed bar for the adults.

Annual Bonfire Firework Display

Location: Bryn-y-Grog

Time: From 4pm. Bonfire and fireworks begin at 7pm

Annual Grand Fireworks Display

Location: Gresford Colliery Sports and Social Club

Time: Gates open 5.30pm, Display commences 7.15pm

Details: Entry on the night via the Gate. Fun fair, Licensed Bar, and refreshments available. Gresford Colliery Sports and Social Club Bluebell Lane, Pandy, Wrexham LL12 8EE

Caia Park Community Bonfire 

Location: The Venture, Caia Park

Time: 6:30pm bonfire lit. Firework display 7:30pm

Details: Caia Park are hosting their annual Community Bonfire on Tuesday 4th November on the Dunks. Entry is free but donations are appreciated and will go towards hosting the event in 2015. As well as the bonfire and firework display the fair will also be there and food stalls.

The Land Bonfire

Location: near The Opportunities Centre, Plas Madoc

Time: 7.00pm

Details: The Play Team of AVOW are having a bonfire near the Opportunities Centre (Old school field) in Plas Madoc, there will be a fair and refreshments on site.

Chirk AAA Club Firework Display

Location: Chirk AAA Club

Time: Gates open at 6pm, bonfire lit at 7pm and fireworks begin at 7:15pm

Price: £2.50 for adults and over 14s. 50p for those under the age of 14
