Killea house, Letterkenny bank building and four Atlantic view flats for auction

A semi detached four bedroom house in Killea on a street that runs right up to the Londonderry border will be auctioned at the RDS on September 14.

The house, at 7 Kildrum Meadows, Killea, is amongst a catalogue of lots being auctioned by Allsop in two weeks.

The current asking price is 70,000 euros.

Several Donegal properties are going under the hammer in the RDS, including two flats in the seaside resort of Bundoran, both of which will be offered at the enticing reserve price of 10,000 euros.

Both second floor two bedroom apartments are located at Summerhill on the town’s Main Street.

Just up the road in Tullaghan, County Leitrim, where the Drowse – famed for its salmon fishing – enters the Atlantic, there are a further two flats for sale.

The reserve price for each: 25,000 euros.

One of the properties is a first floor three bedroom apartment, the other, a ground floor three bedroom apartment.

Both are located at Castle Cottages, Tullaghan, 3.5kilometres from Bundoran, and a two minute walk from the mouth of the Drowse.

Meanwhile, in Letterkenny the building currently occupied by Permanent TSB is also being auctioned at the RDS.

Billed as a “bank investment building,” the property is located at 67 Upper Main Street.

It’s currently let to Permanent TSB Holdings PLC, trading as, Permanent TSB and the lease runs until 2022.

For those interested in the rental income the reserve range is listed as 640,000 to 680,000 euros.

But for those with such deep pockets why not check out lots further afield such as the 10 houses at Carrigallen, Leitrim, that have a reserve range of 295,000 to 325,000 euros?

Four, five, eight, 11, 12, 13, 16, 18, 24 and 25 Church Manor indlude five four bedroom detached houses, and five three bedroom semi-detached houses.

And one million euros is the reserve price for 32 residential units at Carrickmacross in County Monaghan.

That will start the bidding for apartments one, two, three, four, five, six and houses seven, eight, ten and 21 to 43 at Ascail Rois outside the town.

Meanwhile, the bidding for another, more modest, Letterkenny property – a mid-terrace three bedroom house at 12 An Gleann Rua – starts at 49,000 euros.
