Under the Antlers at Urban Farmer: Urban Farmer will be serving a four-course, seafood-centric dinner using exotic fish procured by Flying Fish Company, and a dessert course on July 17 in the Library Room on the 8th floor of The Nines Hotel at 6:30 p.m. Urban Farmer’s Chef de Cuisine, Chris Starkus and Bar Manager, Tyler Voelker will present each dish and drink pairing. Good Food Awards Night Market and Beer Brats After Party: From 6 – 9 p.m. on July 18, the Good Food Merchants Guild, an association of business that support the Good Food Awards, will be partnering with Olympic Provisions to host afree night market at the Northwest location of Olympic Provisions at 1632 N.W. Thurman St. Vendors at the market include Alma ChocolateClear Creek DistilleryRoman Candle Baking Co.Tails Trotters and more. Immediately following the Night Market will be a Beer Brats After Party with brews and Olympic Provisions sausages accompanied with kimchi, krauts and pickles from 9 – 11 p.m. Entry for the event is $12/person and includes one sausage and one beer. Cartlandia Fundraiser, MS BITES, with Bike MS and Team Amulet: Cartlandia is supporting a fundraiser for the National Campaign to Fight Multiple Sclerosis. On July 19 from 5 – 9 p.m., three musicians, Bradley Andrews, Caroline Hecht and The Stragglers, The Blue Room Bar and participating food carts (Ms. T’s, Bardo’s Grill, Kamikaze Sushi and others), will donate a portion of the proceeds during the free evening. All funds raised will support the National MS Society, Oregon Chapter.

Oregon Berry Festival Gala Dinner: On July 19 on the rooftop terrace of the Ecotrust Building, featured Berry Festival featured chef Jenn Louis will be serving a four-course dinner paired with Oregon Wines starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $95/person and can be purchased online

Dinner at the new Jacobsen Salt Co. HQ: On July 19, the upcoming Portland Jacobsen Salt Co. headquarters will be hosting a five-course dinner in collaboration with Williams Sonoma Open Kitchen and chefs Matt Accarrino (SPQR, San Francisco), Renee Erickson (The Walrus and the Carpenter, Seattle) and Jason French (Ned Ludd). Pairings for the dinner will include wine from Division Winemaking Company and Union Wine Co., as well as beer from Breakside Brewery. Chef in my Garden Dinner Series: Starting in July and continuing through September, 10 Portland restaurants will be teaming up with Growing Gardens for the 2014 lineup of Chef in my Garden. Partcipating restaurants include Ned Ludd, Beast, Bluehour, Imperial, Ava Gene’s and Clyde Common. The second dinner on July 20 will be cooked by Naomi Pomeroy of Beast/Expatriate. Tickets for each event are $150/person and include dinner and wine pairings. Portugal in Portland at Fado Portuguese Kitchen Bar: Fado Portuguese Kitchen Bar will be celebrating Portugal with a pop-up dinner and wine tasting on July 21 at 6:30 p.m. The menu will feature 11 dishes and 14 wines spanning the entire country of Portugal, as well as the Azores Island archipelago. Free scoops from Ben  Jerry’s: Through July 29, Ben Jerry’s will be scooping free ice cream across the Portland area with their annual Scoop Truck tour. This year, the truck will be scooping its new Core flavor concoctions. Upcoming events

After Hours Supper Club: A new Portland supper club from Mindy Keith (Xico),Richard Batley and Dillon DeBauche (Little T Baker’s head baker) will be hosting its first dinner on July 24 at 7 p.m. at the Southeast Division location of Little T Baker. A six-course menu including Dungeness crab salad, braised goat leg and honey fry bread will be paired with Guild Winemakers wines. Tickets for dinner are $90/person and include pairings. 

Celebracion de la Independencia del Peru: On July 28, Andina will be celebrating Peruvian Independence Day with musicians and food. The event will include a two-set performance by guest artist Santiago Linares with Vladimir Vukanovich and master cajón player Pedro Rosales. Also performing is four-time Peruvian Marinera Dance Champion Néstor Ruiz and Peruvian dancer Luciana Proaño. Local Jazz guitarist John “JB” Butler will join the band for part of the evening. Throughout the performance, guests may order a la carte menu options from Andina’s full tapas, dinner, drinks and dessert menus. Doors for the event open at 6 p.m. There is a $20 cover for the performance and a $20 food and drink minimum, per person. 

Trader Vic’s 3rd Anniversary Celebration: Trader Vic’s will be celebrating three years with a limited edition tiki mug ($100) designed by Munktiki founder, Paul Nielsen, who will sign each collector’s mug during the event, live music, food and cocktails on Aug. 1 from 5 – 8 p.m. Only 100 of the mugs will be available to purchase. 

Origin ’14 at Arbor Brook Vineyards: Over 25 wineries, Bamboo Sushi, The Ben Brick, The Painted Lady and other restaurants will be coming together on Aug. 9 from 4:30 – 8 p.m. at Arbor Brook Vineyards in celebration of food and wine in one of the “most dramatic geology” Oregon has to offer. Wineries include Adelsheim, Chehalem, Ponzi, Trisaetum and more. Tickets for the event are $60/person and include food and wine. Oregon Culinary Institute Dinner: On Aug. 12 at 7 p.m., the Oregon Culinary Institute will be hosting a three-course dinner with author Steven Shomler of Portland Food Cart Stories. Dinner is $18/person and the first 45 reservations will get a free copy of the book. Tickets can be purchased the night-of at the OCI or by calling 503.961.6200.

Savor the Pearl: A week-long neighborhood tasting event benefiting adults and children suffering from cystic fibrosis will be taking place between Aug. 18 and 24. Participating restaurants include Bridgeport Brew Pub, Cool Moon Ice Cream, Garden Bar, River Pig Saloon and more. Tickets are $50/person. Nicky USA’s 14th Annual Wild About Game: On Sept. 7 from 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Timberline Lodge, four Portland chefs, including Jason French (Ned Ludd) and Josh Schofield (Toro Bravo) will be facing off against four Seattle chefs, including Rob Sevcik (Loulay) and Jason Stoneburner (Bastille) in the 14th annual Wild About Game culinary competition. Each dish will be presented to a panel of judges as well as to event attendees for juding. Tickets are $65/person and can bepurchased in advance. Tickets will be $75/person at the door.
