From Scooby Doo to gardening: Upcoming events at the Grand Blanc Farmers …

GRAND BLANC, MI – The Grand Blanc Farmers Market kicked off in May.

And if you’re looking to see what special activities and events will be going on throughout the season, check out the schedule listed below.

The farmers market is open Sunday and will also be open on Wednesday evenings starting July 9.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday and from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning July 9, along Grand Boulevard in downtown Grand Blanc.

Grand Blanc Farmers Market schedule:

June 1 – Puppet show by CompassWalk Outreach; MSU Extension Master Gardeners Q A; Grand Blanc Historic District Commission’s barn raising.

June 8 – Walk, Bike, Run to the Market; Edible Flint; Guitar music by Michael Potbury; Hoop house for health voucher distribution.

June 15 – Father’s Day Giveaway – free gift to the first 100 fathers at the market; Dulcimer music by Charlene Berry; Gift of Life outreach;

June 22 – Market closed for the Family Fun Fest.

June 29 – Flint Banjo Club performs from noon to 2 p.m.; Senior Project Fresh voucher distribution.

July 6 – Puppet show by CompassWalk Outreach; GBHS EngiNERDS; MSU Extension Master Gardeners Q A.

July 13 – Two-cylinder tractor club; Guitar music by Michael Potbury.

July 20 – Christmas in July.

July 27 – Crochet and Knit in public.

Aug. 3 – Art Fair – open until 4 p.m.; MSU Extension Master Gardeners Q A; Guitar music; Michigan Blood Bank Blood Drive; Puppet show by CompassWalk Outreach.

Aug. 10 – Two-cylinder tractor club; Dulcimer music by Charlene Berry.
