The Southern Illinoisan will be publishing a special section Dec. 7 highlighting faith-based events related to the Christmas season.

Organizations or churches planning faith-based events to take place Dec. 7 or later may send information to The Southern for inclusion in the special section.

Special holiday services, plays, choral events and concerts are among the events to be listed in the section, called Reason for The Season.
