Infamous: Second Son will be released next April, according to a leaked retail listing.

North American retailer Gamestop is listing the game for April 1, 2014, having previously advertised the game for February.

The new launch date, which is yet to be confirmed by Sony, falls on a Tuesday, which is the traditional day on which games are released in North America.

Sony has previously confirmed that the game will be released during the PS4 launch window, specifically in the first quarter of 2014.

Infamous: Second Son was unveiled during Sony’s PS4 event in February.

The game sees Native American conduit Delsin Rowe do battle with the “oppressive” Department of Unified Protection.

Rowe is able to manipulate smoke in order to launch projectiles, create smoke clouds and perform a dash move. Players will be able to replenish Rowe’s smoke powers by absorbing chimney smoke and destroying cars.

Rowe will also have the ability to absorb powers from fellow conduits, although it’s unclear what form these powers will take.
