Seaside, SouthCoast Media Group’s guide to summer, will be published May 24.

Notices of “Places to Go” and calendar events occurring between May 24 and Sept. 8 will be listed in that section and will be accepted until April 19.

Nightlife venues, recreation spots, galleries, museums, campgrounds and other places listed in “Places to Go” have until April 19 to correct or amend those listings. We will not run a private listing from a previous year without your communication to us confirming the listing.

Representatives from venues wanting coverage for events outside the Seaside calendar should contact our Coastin’ section, care of Joanna McQuillan Weeks, at least two weeks in advance of the desired publication date.

Notices, updates and requests for a Seaside listing should be addressed to:

Anne Marie Tomascik, Seaside editor

The Standard-Times

25 Elm St.

New Bedford, MA 02740

Or, your listing can be faxed to 508-997-7491. Those who fax listings to the newspaper should call 979-4471 to confirm receipt of the fax. Material can also be emailed (with Seaside in the subject field) to:

atomascik@s-t.com

Seaside listings are not paid advertisements. They are news listings offered as a reader service and their publication depends on an editorial determination of their suitability as well as on available space.
