Tuesday, October 30

Mansura-

The Mansura Police Department will host the 5th Annual “Trick R Treat Around the Track” on Tuesday, October 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is open to children and adults and will be held at the walking track on Leglise St.

There will be candy, music and hot dogs for the kids and a haunted house. Each child is asked to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Food Bank of Cenla.

There are no official hours for trick or treating as officials encourage children to participate in the event around the track. Call 964-2152.

New Life Assembly of God Church on Hwy. 1 South, “Happy Harvest Nite”, 6 to 8 p.m. Entry is free and some tickets, used for games, given at the door. Extrra tickets 25 cents each or five for $1. Event includes an inflatable jump, prizes, new games, contests, food and door prizes. 253-4361.

Moreauville-

Trick or treat on Main St. from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with booths providing candy and goodies. A haunted house is set at the Fire Station across from Avoyelles High School. To register a booth, call the Moreauville Village Hall at 985-2338.

Plaucheville-

A Halloween carnival will be held behind the Plaucheville Community Center from 5 to 7 p.m. near Plaucheville Elementary. Call the Plaucheville Village Hall at 922-3111.
