SKY DANCER FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR
Wednesday, July 4th
Enjoy one of North Carolina’s top-rated fireworks shows last year, making an exciting return appearance in 2012 to Wet’n Wild for the award-winning SKY DANCER FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR. Enjoy over 40 acres of water park fun from 10am until 9pm (extended hours), then relax inside the park and enjoy watching our dazzling display of fireworks beginning at 9:30pm. Additional activities during the day include our Freedom Fest Block Party with live music, special contests, loads of prize giveaways and more from our Main Stage area inside the park! Asheboro – July 4, 9 – 10 p.m. (fireworks)
Fireworks with the Asheboro Copperheads 138 Southway Rd Asheboro, NC 27205. Come enjoy everything American and celebrate the 4th of July with the Asheboro Copperheads Baseball team with an outstanding fireworks show immediately following the game.
Burlington – July 3, 6 – 10 p.m. (fireworks)
For All Ages Burlington will turn back the hands of time and have the original Independence Day Celebration at the Burlington City Park as they did many years ago. Remember the sack races, the water balloon toss, and watermelon eating contests? It’s all back by popular demand. The Magnificents will perform at 6pm and The Company Shops Concert Band will take the stage at 9:15pm and perform during the launching of the aerial fireworks display. More info.
Carrboro – July 4, 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. (festival)
Music, face painting, balloon sculpture artists, roaming magicians, scrap exchange, games, food and more. Parade on Weaver Street in downtown Carrboro with events at the Town Commons.
Chapel Hill – July 4, 1 – 3 p.m. (festival)
Village Band on the lawn of the Horace Williams House and Lemonade. 1-3 pm.
Charlotte – July 3, 7 – 10 p.m. (fireworks)
The summer concert season ends with a bang on July 3 at the Symphony’s most popular concert of the year, the annual “Celebrate America.” Albert-George Schram leads the orchestra in patriotic favorites, including “Star Spangled Banner,” “Armed Forces Salute,” Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture,” and Sousa’s “Liberty Bell March.” The concert culminates in an impressive array of fireworks.
Clemmons/Tanglewood – July 4, 5 – 10 p.m. (fireworks)
The gates to Tanglewood Park’s Steeplechase Track will open at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 to allow for picnicking before the fireworks display, which will begin at approximately 9:30 pm. The admission cost for the fireworks display is $5 per car and $10 per bus or motorcoach. More info.

Greensboro – Fun Fourth Festival – July 4, 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (fireworks)
The Fun Fourth Festival has been presented annually since 1975 as a community celebration of Independence Day for Guilford County and the Piedmont Triad. The festival is held in the Cultural District of Downtown Greensboro and at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. Street festival runs from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pops concert and fireworks goes from 7:30 to 10 p.m. More info.

Come out to Oak Hollow Festival Park for our annual July 4th celebration. We will have plenty of food vendors, music and fireworks. Performers will be: 40 East (Today’s Country/Southern Rock) and Pushh (Variety). We will have novelties, exhibits and displays, and food and beverage for purchase. No cans, bottles or alcohol allowed. No pets allowed, except for service animals. Additional parking available at Oak Hollow Golf Course and Marina. More info.

Spend your holiday at the pool enjoying your family, sun, water, giveaways, and FREE hot dogs while supplies last. Catch the fireworks at Kernersville Elementary at dusk. More info.

July 4th Parade in Mayberry, with Grand Marshall Donna Fargo (“Happiest Girl in the Whole USA”, “Funny Face”). More info.
Reidsville – July 3rd, 4p.m.- 10 p.m. (fireworks)
