Volunteers will gather at the Fair Ground before going out to “Love Tuolumne County” for more read the news story, “Show Tuolumne County Love”.

The 13th annual Children’s Fair hosted by The Resource Connection is at Bret Harte High School from 10:00am-2:00pm. The event celebrates “The Week of the Young Child” a nationwide event. This free event draws hundreds of families each year and is one of the largest collaborative children’s events in Calaveras County.

Also in Calaveras, the 24-hour Relay for Life walk starts at 9:00am at Calaveras High School in San Andreas. The Tuolumne County Relay for Life will be held next weekend.

The popular 3rd Annual “Who let the dogs out in Twain Harte?” parade and family fun day begins at noon, and there is a small entry fee per dog. All proceeds go to the Humane Society of Tuolumne County.

With warmer weather people are asking when the Sonora Farmers Market will start. It is scheduled for May 19th to run through October 20th. For information on other local farmer’s markets and annual events visit our Annual Event page here.
