STAMFORD, Conn. — Award-winning actress and performer Liza Minnelli hits the stage Friday night in Stamford to kick off the weekend. Details for Minnelli’s performance as well as other events are listed below.

Friday, March 30

6:30 p.m.: The Stamford Innovation Center will host its first annual “Start-Up Weekend,” allowing entrepreneuers to develop ideas and present them to investors. Tickets are $99 for developers, $49 for students and $20 for investors. The innovation center is located in Old Town Hall, 175 Atlantic St.

7 p.m.: The Stamford Museum Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Road, will take people on a nature walk to learn about toads, salamanders and other amphibians during the “Amphibian Amble.” Call 203-977-6521.
