RYE BROOK — Two men were shot and wounded Saturday night during a dispute at a Roanoke Avenue apartment, Rye Brook Police Chief Gregory Austin said in a statement released Sunday.

The two victims, who were not identified, were rushed to the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla shortly after the 8:40 p.m. shooting at 3 Roanoke Ave., police said. One of the men was listed in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the buttocks, while the other was shot in the head and was listed in critical condition Sunday, Austin said. Both victims were in their twenties.

Earlier reports indicated that Rye Brook and Port Chester police were searching for three suspects in the incident. Police said the shooting took place in an upstairs apartment after an argument between residents and “some uninvited guests” escalated into violence.

Austin said no arrests had been made and that the investigation is ongoing.
