Saha &Fellaini To Be Transfer Listed: The Sorrow Continues

Whilst it is no secret that there is no surplus of money at Goodison Park, things may now have got to the point where they have to sell off a couple of their key assets in order to balance the books. These losses could come as soon as the January transfer window and are expected to take the form of and .

Saha is seemingly seen as surplus to requirements this season for the Toffees and has failed to nail down a regular starting position in ’ first team. In response to this Saha has stated publicly that he would consider a return to France, and that that move could take place in January. This being said, the striker has also refused to say anything further regarding his future as the transfer window is now closed, and he will continue to focus his efforts on performing for Everton.

To lose Fellaini, one of Everton’s best players in recent years, would be extremely damaging to the Liverool-based outfit, especially as there are no guarantees that there will be enough money available to acquire a replacement of equal quality. But with Fellaini so far refusing to extend his contract, a deal which expires at the end of next season, The Daily Mail has reported that Everton would be willing to place him on the transfer list in January, with the hopes he will command a higher transfer fee then, than in the summer window when he will have just 12 months left on his contract.
