Senior Site / Construction Manager – South London – Grade II listed refurb.

Position: Senior Site / Construction Manager

Location: South London

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + Package

Company Overview: Our client is a major blue chip main contractor who has been praised in various journals recently due to a successful growth period and a number of high profile jobs being secured. They undertake new build and refurbishment schemes within the commercial, education, hotel, residential and industrial sectors typically between £5 million and £60 million in value. Projects are typically in London and South East.

Project: They have recently secured a refurbishment project in South London for which they require a Senior Site / Construction Manager. The project is the conversion of 2 x Grade II listed buildings into student accommodation. There will be a Senior Site / Construction Manager on each block worth £8 million.

Role: As the project is secured there is little pre-construction work left to be done. As a Senior Site / Construction Manager you will therefore act as the no.1 on site heading up the contract from day one on site through to successful delivery of the scheme reporting to a Senior Project Manager.

Individual: You will have an excellent track record leading a site team and of delivering complex projects £5 million plus to time, quality and budget.

Future work is likely to be within London and consist of Design Build residential, Healthcare, Education or Commercial projects up to £30 million.
