6 ‘summer’ activities in Hong Kong

MANILA, Philippines – Hong Kong continues to offer a series of summer events and activities in an effort to lure visitors this August, traditionally a lean travel month in the Philippines and some parts of Southeast Asia.

August is the last month of the Hong Kong Summer Spectacular 2011, the city’s annual summer festival, which starts in June.

In the Philippines and nearby countries, typhoon season is from late May to end of September.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board listed 6 events and activities that visitors can take part in, from interactive water playgrounds to live performances, this August.
