Mumbai, Mar 29 (PTI) When it comes to cricket, it seems
everything else can wait, including the crucial business of
Maharashtra Legislature. Both the Houses will wind up proceedings by 2 pm tomorrow,
in time for legislators to catch the crucial India-Pakistan
semi-final on TV. A senior Vidhan Bhawan official told PTI that tomorrow’s
agenda for the Houses has been listed till 2 pm. Although no official announcement has been made on the
reason for winding up the Houses so early, it is anybody’s
guess. Earlier today, members of state Legislative Council
demanded that passes be given to them for the April 2 final
match to be held at Wankhede Stadium here. The stadium is close to the Vidhan Bhawan building where
the Budget session is underway.
