Bennett listed as questionable for Sunday’s finale
Bears wide receiver Earl Bennett (ankle) was limited in practice Friday and listed as questionable for Sunday’s game in Green Bay, meaning there’s a 50 percent chance he’ll play against the Packers.
If Bennett does not suit up, Rashied Davis could get more snaps on offense. Having contributed primarily on special teams this season, Davis has just two receptions for 21 yards, including a nine-yard TD.
“It would mean a lot for me to be able to go out and play a little bit on offense,” Davis said Friday. “It would be great to touch the ball 5-6-7-8-10 times. It would be awesome.”
While Bennett is the only Bears player on the injury report, the Packers have 14. Five have been ruled out and nine are probable, meaning there’s a 75 percent chance they’ll play.
Players who will not suit up are safety Atari Bigby (groin), fullback Korey Hall (knee), defensive end Cullen Jenkins (calf), guard Marshall Newhouse (back) and linebacker Frank Zombo (knee).
Those listed as probable include tackle Chad Clifton (knees), linebacker Clay Matthews (shin), defensive end Ryan Pickett (ankle), center Scott Wells (back) and cornerback Charles Woodson (toe).
