Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor has again been offerred a new contract as the club try to avoid losing him on a free transfer at the end of the season, according to Journal Live.
The 24-year-old has been at Newcastle for his entire career, but his refusal to sign a new contract thus far has seen him being placed on the transfer list, despite the club saying they want to keep him, and Taylor saying he wants to stay.
No offers have been made for the defender and it seems both player and club will be looking to end the contractual stalemate as soon as possible.
