The best-selling country group of the decade, Rascal Flatts, which includes Picher-bred guitarist Joe Don Rooney, released its new album, “Nothing Like This,” on Tuesday on the its new label, Big Machine Records.

The group announced last week that it will extend the “Nothing Like This" tour into 2011. The March 12 concert at Oklahoma City Arena is currently the last stop listed on the tour's second leg, which will include 21 shows and feature opening acts Luke Bryan and Chris Young.

Rascal Flatts — Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Rooney — joined Big Machine Records after their former label, Disney's Lyric Street, closed this year.

In the past 10 years, the trio has sold more than 20 million albums and 25 million digital downloads, while all six of their previous studio albums have made Billboard's Top 100 Country Albums of the Decade listing. They've placed 11 No. 1 singles since the launch of their career and have more titles in Billboard's Top 100 Songs of the Decade than any other group in the country format.

The band is nominated for favorite band, duo or group at the upcoming American Music Awards; for group of the year, single of the year by a group, video of the year by a group and touring act of the year at the inaugural American Country Awards; and favorite country artist at the People's Choice Awards.
