Gordon Lord Byron is back in exercise with all options open to the globetrotter once again this year.
Tom Hogan’s stable star has lined up at a string of international events, from Royal Ascot, to Hong Kong to Rosehill in Australia.
He was a Group One winner at the last-named venue in 2014 before going on to win the British Champions Sprint at Ascot.
However, Gordon Lord Byron enjoyed only limited success last season, winning a Listed event and a Group Three heat at the Curragh and was last seen when only fifth in a Lingfield Listed contest in November.
Gordon Lord Byron has been given a break since that effort and Hogan has his eyes set on Dundalk in March for a racecourse return.
He said: “He is in good form and started back cantering last Monday. He’s full of beans and is good and fresh.
“There’s a race for him at Dundalk in mid-March and we’ll see after that, but he has plenty of options.”
