Arkansas Railroad Program
BENTON — Shelle Stormoe, education coordinator for the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program, will present Take the Last Train to Clarksville, a program on Arkansas’ railroad history, at 6:30 p.m. at the Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library, 1800 Smithers Drive. Stormoe’s program, which is free and open to the public, will include railroad-related sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Merry Mixers Dance Club
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Hot Springs Village Merry Mixers dance to live music from 7-10 p.m. the first and third Saturdays of every month at the Coronado Community Center. Rhythmic Interactive Percussion
HOT SPRINGS — The Rhythmic Interactive Percussion musical event takes place from 5-9 p.m. Sundays at Kenneth Adair Park, 358 Central Ave. Participation is encouraged as ensemble members pass out drums, tambourines, maracas and more to audience members. Ageless Bikers Club
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Ageless Bikers Club has eight different bike rides that are 16 to 23 miles. The rides, which are at 1 p.m., are on quiet, paved country roads, but two rides have up to 3 miles of dirt roads. No one is left behind, and the riders stop often to regroup and socialize. George Washington Birthday Luncheon
HOT SPRINGS — Various colonial hereditary groups will host the annual George Washington Birthday Luncheon on Feb. 23 at the Hot Springs Country Club. The public is invited. Judge Josh Morriss of Texarkana, Texas, chief justice of Texas’ 6th District Court of Appeals, will present his original dramatic monologue, “A Standing Miracle,” a portrayal of President George Washington. Seating will begin at 11 a.m., and the program will begin at 11:30. Paid reservations of $20 must be received by Feb. 16. No walk-ins will be allowed.
