STAR striker Mark Gamble has been transfer listed by Wimborne Town, manager Simon Browne has confirmed.
Gamble, the club’s top scorer for the past two seasons, is available to loan or on a full transfer with immediate effect.
Browne politely declined to comment further until the matter is resolved with the 11-goal hitman, who is still on the comeback trail having displaced two bones in his foot and sustained ankle ligament damage against Weymouth in October.
It follows hot on the heels of defender Adam Costello announcing his departure from Cuthbury with Browne revealing he would struggle to balance work commitments with Southern League football.
“Adam and I had a chat on Tuesday. He has been injured for a while and found it difficult to be at training,” said Browne.
“He said he was likely to sign for Merley and take things from there. He is hoping to be fit again by the early part of January.
“It may be that I go back to him in a month or so when he’s back and possibly when his work situation is a bit better.”
