Black Friday 2015 is fast approaching, and this year some retailers are promising discounts bigger than ever.
But preparation is key – you need to know where to head for the best deals, even though the discounts being offered are often not released until the last minute.
So to help, we have listed some of the major retailers taking part in this year’s event, with a snippet of information about what to expect.
Currys
Currys has increased stock by around 40% to deal with anticipated increased demand around the event.
Brands to watch for the big deals include Nespresso, Dyson, HP, Bosch, Samsung, Sony, Beats and LG.
They’ve also “strengthened website capability” after last year’s chaos meant shoppers were thrown out of the website after just 10 minutes.
House of Fraser
The high street one stop shop will be taking part in Black Friday for the second time in its history – and has revealed items will be reduced by up to 50% including:
• Fashion
• Beauty
• Home electricals
Tesco
The supermarket, which is delaying its opening time on Black Friday, has announced a countdown timer online.
This includes a sneak preview of deals including three for two on Christmas decorations, 1,000 points when you use your Clubcard with certain items and up to 50% off toys.
Amazon
The online store has issued a number of deals with timers leading up to Black Friday, showing you when the offers end on the product.
Items with up to 70% off include homeware and jewellery.
Argos
Argos has issued an early interest registration process online. It is encouraging customers to “avoid the drama of Black Friday” by registering now for an Argos my account.
By doing this, customers get quicker access to deals and faster in-store collection from the Fast Track counter in-store when you buy online.
Plus, the store will hold your item for seven days, so you can pick it up when its convenient for you.
