According the rumor mill, the guys at Meizu are readying a compact variant of the Pro 5 flagship which is unofficially dubbed as Meizu Pro 5 Mini. Even though the handset is not yet official a retailer has prematurely listed it as available for purchase.

The yet-unannounced Meizu Pro 5 Mini is now live on the website of European online retailer eFOX, but it’s marked as “not currently in stock”. Aside the Meizu Pro 5 Mini pricing, eFOX also revealed most of the terminal’s technical specifications.

However, many of the specs listed there check out with the reports that surfaced online in the past. You are looking at a 4.7-inch screen with Full HD (1080 x 1920) resolution, while being underpinned by MediaTek’s deca-core MT6797 Helio X20 processor. The technical specifications list also includes 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of on-board storage, and microSD support up to 128 GB. Rumor has it that Meizu will also release a 64 GB variant that packs 4 GB of RAM.

Camera-wise, Meizu Pro 5 Mini will reportedly feature a 16 MP main shooter with LED flash and a 5 MP secondary cam for your selfie needs. In the connectivity department, Pro 5 Mini is said to bring dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, GPS, and microUSB. Meizu’s compact phone is reportedly powered by a 3,050 mAh battery, while coming pre-loaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop.

As for the price, the retailer lists the Meizu Pro 5 Mini at €360 which is about $390. It’s also worth mentioning that Meizu’s CEO said that the smartphone will be officially launched sometime in Q1 2016.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to verify the accuracy of eFOX’s listing that’s why we are advising you to take the report with a pinch of salt. After all, nothing is official until Meizu says so.
