Giants’ Odell Beckham listed as questionable to face Eagles

Odell Beckham Jr. is listed as questionable to face the Eagles Monday night in Philadelphia, which sounds about right.

That means he has a 50-50 chance of playing and, given that he has not practiced at all with his latest hamstring issue, it is only even money that he is able to play.

Beckham felt a “tug’’ on the hamstring in the second half of the 30-27 victory over the 49ers but, after sitting out, talked his way into returning to the field for the final drive, drawing a key pass interference penalty.

He maintains this hamstring issue is not as severe as the injuries that delayed his debut as a rookie last season.

Tom Coughlin said he is hopeful Beckham will be able to get some work in this week and it will be important for the star receiver to participate in Sunday’s practice.

Receiver Rueben Randle also hurt his hamstring late against the 49ers but he was able to practice on a limited basis this week and is listed as probable. Guard Justin Pugh (ankle) and defensive end George Selvie (calf) are also probable.

It would be a lift to the Giants if they could get defensive end Robert Ayers back, as he’s missed the last three games with a strained hamstring. Ayers is listed as questionable, along with linebackers Jon Beason (concussion) and Jonathan Casillas (calf) and cornerback Trumaine McBride (groin/illness).

Cornerback Prince Amukamara (pectoral), linebacker Devon Kennard (hamstring) and receiver Victor Cruz (calf) are out.

For the Eagles, receiver Nelson Agholor (anke), linebackers Mychal Kendricks (hamstring) and Kiko Alonso (knee) and defensive end Brandon Bair (groin) are out. Running back Ryan Mathews (groin) is questionable.
