A couple of days ago, Huawei tweeted Smartphones list from lower to higher end lined-up for a upcoming marshmallow update. Similarly, we have some good news for Motorola Smartphone users. After a great launch of Android marshmallow that step out with Nexus devices, Google is all set to roll out an OS update for previously released Smartphones and tablet.
Motorola listed out 9 devices in the session to get a latest marshmallow update. This news was first spotted in company official post, in which a sort of device is all set for Android 6.0. The company had never announced android marshmallow firmware release date. According to press reports, we can expect update timeline in a couple of weeks.
Motorola says, “information on timing should become available in the coming weeks”.
I always like the surprise, let Motorola brand reveal firmware release date later. Here we have a list of devices are ready to get marshmallow over-the-air. Starting from recently announced Moto X Pure Edition (US), the company included Moto X Play, Moto G (3rd Generation), Moto G, Moto G 4G LTE (2nd Gen), Droid Turbo, Moto MAXX and Moto Turbo.
Talking about the features, marshmallow brings four new features such as Direct Share, Now on Tap, Simpler volume control and Doze mode. Apart from some major changes, Motorola added some enhancement and a new setting menu that includes ‘do not disturb’ option.
We are happy to say all phone users, “get ready for marshmallow update”
Something fishy, there are some devices with affordable hardware such as Moto E, Moto G (1st Gen) and Moto X. These devices released few months back, but still not in marshmallow list. Motorola might unveil another list of devices for marshmallow in the coming days. On the other end, Nexus 6 is now available for $299 in the USA. We keep track on firmware news, stay connected to future updates. Don’t forget to write your opinion in the comment section below.
