New US reporter to provide fast, accurate analysis of events, and insight into markets, as Lloyd’s List strengthens its digital presence
LLOYD’S List has welcomed another member to its expanding news team across Europe, the US and Asia.
Nora Zhou joins us as US reporter. She will be working with US correspondent Lambros Papaeconomou to provide thorough and in-depth coverage of US-listed and private companies. Together they will provide fast, accurate analysis of events, and insight into markets, as Lloyd’s List strengthens its digital presence.
“I’m very excited about joining Lloyd’s List editorial team here in New York as a reporter,” Ms Zhou said. “[I am] confident that I will create great value for our customers given my previous experience as a business journalist.”
Prior to joining Lloyd’s List, Ms Zhou was a reporter at PEI Media in charge of the news coverage for Agri Investor. She wrote about private investments in agribusiness in North and Latin America.
Ms Zhou has exposure to the energy and healthcare sectors while interning at The Deal, a subsidiary of TheStreet. At The Deal, she covered mergers and acquisitions, auction and corporate bankruptcies, helped the auction team build a weekly newsletter and learned to use data reporting.
Ms Zhou completed her Master’s degree in business and economic reporting with New York University in December 2014, where she was a part-time journalism student and part-time MBA student at the Stern Business School. She holds an undergraduate degree in Communications and Economics with the University of Missouri – Columbia.
