Law firm Gateley Holdings reported a sharp hike in revenue in its first full year as listed company.
In the year to 30 April, the company reported an 11.5% year-on-year increase in revenue to £60.9m, while earnings before interests, tax, depreciation and amortisation surged 28.4% to £11.3m.
The London-listed company, which raised £30m during its initial public offer in June 2015, said over the last 12 months it had advised on more than 250 corporate deals with a combined value in excess of £1.5bn.
Group chairman Nigel Payne said the results were “pleasing” considering the challenging legal marketplace the group faced over the financial year.
“The board is focused on ensuring that Gateley is ideally positioned to maximise the opportunities from the changing marketplace in which we operate as well as from our new and more flexible Plc status,” he said.
Gateley Holdings shares were up 1.52% to 100.50p at 0851 BST on Tuesday.
