This Labor Day edition of the Weekend Watch is packed with plenty of events as college football fever heats up in the Bay Area! Cal hosts Grambling State while Stanford will play at Northwestern.

A Marin county classic, the Sausalito Art Festival runs Saturday through Monday. Ranked by some as one of the best in America, there’s amazing art, food, and live music including such big name headliners as Jimmy Cliff, Jefferson Starship and Quicksilver to name a few. That isn’t the only art festival happening either. Millbrae’s 45th Art and Wine Festival slated for Saturday and Sunday running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. downtown on Broaway. Tapped as a Mardi Gras style celebration, the party will have plenty of live music, food, wine and a kids play land, but no pets. MORE INFO

Cue the bag pipes!! The 150th Scottish Games are back in town at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. There are plenty of great games to watch and popular “Game of Thrones” actor and Icelandic strongman Hafthor Julius Bjornsson will be making an appearances. Tickets will be available at the gate. You may not be Greek, but the Belmont Greek Festival is enticing. Faith, food, family and fun is how its labeled. It will be held Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the Church of the Holy Cross in Belmont. MORE INFO

Napa and Sonoma are not the only wine spots in the Bay Area. The Livermore Harvest Wine Celebration is Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. 40 wineries come together to celebrate the crush season with arts, crafts and music all included. MORE INFO

High school football also kicks into gear over the weekend with couple big games as De la Salle plays Serra and St. Ignatius plays Campolindo.

And don’t forget that BART’s Transbay Tube is closed all weekend long.
