Details of guerrilla artist Banksy’s Dismaland Bemusement Park exhibition at the Tropicana in Weston-super-Mare have emerged.

The website describes the event as Dismal Land – a festival of art, amusements and entry-level anarchism.

According to a website set up for event the sinister twist on Disneyland opens on Saturday and will stay open for five weeks until September 27.

And it appears that elements of the theme park exhibition will be pretty dark – including a Punch and Judy show that references paedophile Jimmy Savile and Fifty Shades of Gray.

There will also be a fire pit where visitors can reportedly burn Jeffrey Archer novels.

The peer – who was jailed for perjury – was born near the seaside town and is known as Lord Archer of Weston-super-Mare.

The website also says the biggest display of modern art ever seen in North Somerset will be on display – including pieces by celebrated artists such as Damien Hirst.

The event will be open each day from 11am until 11pm and Bristol trip-hop pioneers Massive Attack are listed as being due to perform as part of a series of night time events.

Other attractions on the derelict site include an ‘oil caliphate’ crazy golf course – allegedly constructed from a Cheltenham Ladies College hockey pitch.

As well as Banksy other artists are also listed as being part of the exhibition include Damien Hirst.

The website claims tickets for locals will be available as of tomorrow, they will cost £3.

The Dismaland attraction is listed to stay open until the end of September and is likely to mean thousands of extra visitors descend on the North Somerset town.

In the small print of the website it states the following are strictly prohibited in the park – spray paint, marker pens, knives and legal representatives of the Walt Disney Corporation.
