Thirdgen Moto G accidentally listed on Flipkart, two RAM variants confirmed

Flipkart appears to have jumped the gun over the weekend and listed the third gen Moto G on its site, just as we lead up to tomorrow’s Moto G and Moto X announcement.

Motorola is holding launch events at New York, London, Sao Paulo and New Delhi for the revealing of the 3rd gen Moto X and the Moto G tomorrow, so we can expect to find a number of surprises tomorrow.

This new leak from Flipkart also reveals the pricing of Rs 11,999 (8GB model), which is very impressive. This variant comes with 1GB of RAM as well, while Motorola is also revealed to be selling another variant of the smartphone with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. However, the pricing details for this model weren’t revealed as Flipkart didn’t have it listed.

Another surprise with this leak is with regards to the camera department. The listing mentions a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture size as well as a 5MP front facing camera, which are both upgrades over the predecessor. The Snapdragon 410 processor has been confirmed as well, which should put an end to reports of the Snapdragon 615 being used.

We have just a day more to wait for the arrival of the new Moto G and the Moto X, so the rest of the features shouldn’t remain a mystery for long.
