With its own private pool – measuring at 34-foot-long – and sitting atop a 43-story Manhattan skyscraper, this is a rare New York apartment.

The apartments within 50 United Nations Plaza – at 345 East 46th Street in Turtle Bay – first went up for sale in 2013.

However the jewel in the building’s crown seems to have only just been revealed.

The four-bedroom duplex, spread over two floors, has just been listed for sale at $70 million.

The apartment is being sold by developers Zeckendorf Development and Global Holdings.
