Specialist engineering event organiser GSE Media has announced a three-year deal with The Roundhouse, Derby to run four events per year at the venue until 2017.

GSE Media has recently launched specialist electrical infrastructure show, Infrelec 2016, adding to the firm’s portfolio of engineering events which include The Graduate Engineer Show, The Engineering Simulation Show and The Engineering Testing Show.

Commenting on the announcement, David Reeks, co-director of GSE Media, said: “Our strategy is based on developing specialist one-day events which deliver a highly relevant audience for our clients, allowing them to maximise their business development opportunities.”

Since establishing in 2013, the events have attracted exhibitors including Rolls-Royce, Jaguar Land Rover, Bentley Motors, European Space Agency and BAE Systems.

Rebekah Ford, of Roundhouse Events said: “We are delighted to be in a position to cement our relationship with GSE Media in this way. The Roundhouse provides a unique listed event space, which through its circular design offers an unusual and highly effective event environment.

“We look forward to delivering more successful events with GSE Media in the future.”

The Graduate Engineering Show is expected to attract 1,500 visitors to the Derby venue on 28 October 2015. There will be eight key sessions during the day, which is a major opportunity for recruitment in the sector.
