GSE Media in three-year events deal at Derby Roundhouse | Conference News

Specialist engineering event organiser GSE Media has announced a three-year deal with The Roundhouse in Derby to run four events per year at the venue until 2017.

Over the last three years, GSE Media’s stable of engineering events: The Graduate Engineer Show, The Engineering Simulation Show and The Engineering Testing Show, have become established in the engineering event calendar. GSE Media has also recently launched Infrelec 2016, the specialist electrical infrastructure show, which will run in April 2016.

Since establishing in 2013, the events have attracted exhibitors including many of the worlds leading engineering businesses including Rolls-Royce, Jaguar Land Rover, Bentley Motors, European Space Agency and BAE Systems and have attracted delegates from across the globe.

Commenting on the announcement, David Reeks, co-director of GSE Media, said: “Our strategy is based on developing specialist one-day events which deliver a highly relevant audience for our clients, allowing them to maximise their business development opportunities.”

“The Roundhouse is an award-winning venue with an unparalleled engineering heritage and has been the ideal venue to grow our niche events. It offers a spectacular backdrop for our exhibitors to showcase their products and services,” added GSE Media co-director Ken Davies.

Rebekah Ford, of Roundhouse Events said: “We are delighted to be in a position to cement our relationship with GSE Media in this way. The Roundhouse provides a unique listed event space, which through it’s circular design offers an unusual and highly effective event environment.

“We look forward to delivering more successful events with GSE Media in the future.”

The Graduate Engineering Show is expected to attract 1,500 visitors to The Roundhouse on 28 October 2015. There will be eight key sessions during the day, which is a major opportunity for recruitment in the sector.
