PASADENA, Calif. – The Pasadena Convention Center and Pasadena Civic Auditorium are home to a wide variety of events throughout the year. Here is a listing of public events scheduled for July and August:

3-5 THE “ORIGINAL” CLASSIC INTERNATIONAL GEM AND JEWELRY SHOW
The “Original” Classic International Gem and Jewelry Show returns to the Pasadena Convention Center July 3-5. Choose from a dazzling selection of fine jewelry, accessories, loose gemstones and one of the largest selections of beads in the USA. 24 PARTY ON THE PLAZA SUMMER CONCERT SERIES – SPACE ODDITY
Pasadena’s Party on the Plaza Summer Concert Series continues with its second tribute performance. Space Oddity – David Brighton’s Tribute to David Bowie is a brilliant live recreation of rock and roll’s most electrifying performer’s legendary phenomenon in rock theater. From stadium-sized pop/rock legend to rock and roll space alien Ziggy Stardust, David Bowie look-alike/sound-alike David Brighton and his all-star band chronicle all of the international superstar’s Ch-Ch-Changes in electrifying Technicolor. Experience Bowiemania in this tribute. The Party on the Plaza summer concert series concludes on Aug. 14.

ScareLA is the first Los Angeles convention dedicated to celebrating Halloween. 14 PARTY ON THE PLAZA SUMMER CONCERT SERIES – DSB – AN AMERICAN JOURNEY, THE WORLD’S GREATEST JOURNEY TRIBUTE BAND
The final event of this year’s Pasadena’s Party on the Plaza Summer Concert Series will take music lovers back to the 1970s and 1980s with DSB – An American Journey, the World’s Greatest Journey Tribute Band. DSB has been highly revered as the “next best thing” to Journey. The group has captured the lush and signature sound of renowned vocalist Steve Perry and Journey in the band’s prime. 15 SOUND OF HAPPINESS MUSIC CONCERT
The Bliss and Wisdom Foundation of North America proudly presents three acclaimed Taiwanese pop singers: Yeeling Huang, Linda Long and Sinmei Tseng at its New York and Pasadena performances.
