A Grade II-listed property close to Sheffield University is among dozens of lots from across South Yorkshire set to go under the hammer in the city tomorrow.

Brunswick House, on Glossop Road, is among nearly 50 lots at the property auction at Sheffield United FC’s Bramall Lane stadium, which starts at 2pm.

The two-storey property, which has been used for adult mental health services, is being auctioned under instruction from Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Trust.

It is described as an ‘attractive landmark property located in the heart of the busy university district’.

Described as having ‘many original features’ and ‘considerable potential’, it has a guide price of £350,000.

Other Sheffield lots at the Mark Jenkinson son auction include a coach house and garage in Broomhill and former takeaway in Walkley.

The stone-built coach house and garage, on the corner of Ashgate Close, is described as an ‘interesting conversion opportunity’ and has planning permission already granted for an office, apartment and roof terrace.

It has a guide price of £150,000.

The former takeaway is part of three adjoining properties on Howard Road which make up one lot with a guide price of £195,000.

Other lots include land in Dronfield, land at Lakeside in Doncaster, a former garage site in Mexborough and houses in Conisbrough, Barnsley and Rotherham.
