But the location is also known for its legendary resorts and stunning beaches, offering views of the Atlantic Ocean and Lake Worth Lagoon, adds the site.
If you are interested to live or invest in Palm Beach, why not take a look at one of its most expensive properties on the market? The Ziff Family’s “Gemini,” is currently listed at $200M offering a hard to beat luxury to its soon to be owners, The Wall Street Journal reports.
The Gemini estate measures about 16-acre of South Palm Beach lot. The Palm Beach estate offers a wonderful vacation getaway for the whole family. Gemini boasts a botanic garden for nature-lovers, especially those who love orchids. The “Orchid Alley” is adorned with hundreds of fresh orchids in almost perpetual bloom.
The estate also houses a miniature golf course for those who can relate to Tiger Woods’ love of the game. Children will find this estate right on their favorite places checklist with a tree house to complete their childhood’s fantasies. There’s also a spacious swimming pool to add to their delight, says the outlet.
The Ziff’s family estate will surely satisfy your dream of that tropical feel. It has about 1,200 feet of frontage showcasing the Atlantic Ocean and another almost 1,300 feet facing the Intracoastal Waterway, notes WSJ.
Situated in Manalapan, Florida, the estate is truly huge, encompassing 33 bedrooms, 34 full baths and another 13 half-baths.
The Gemini’s main house is said to have been built in the 1940s and has undergone renovations. A furnished tunnel that links the main house to the guest houses reportedly features an air-conditioned living room. The tunnel comes with a fireplace and skylights that make it more charming at night.
Carmen D’Angelo, Jr., Gemini’s co-listing agent from Premier Estate Properties told WSJ that the Ziff family bought the estate in the 1980s. His agency is an exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, which markets the Gemini estate internationally, adds WSJ.
The property is owned by Ms. Ziff and her sons, Daniel, Dirk and Robert, after having survived the death of Mr. Ziff Jr. in 2006. Mr. Ziff Jr. was the son of William B. Ziff of the Ziff-Davis publishing empire. Ziff-Davis is also a leading digital media company that caters to gaming, technology and men’s lifestyle.
According to its website, it has about 100 Million unique visitors per month, making it very succesful in its field. Among its websites are AskMen.com, PCMag.com and Geek.com. Vivek Shah is the current CEO of Ziff-Davis.
