Rockies Healthcare donates for CT scanner purchase
Thanks to a donation of $100,000 from the Rockies Healthcare Foundation, the local hospital in Cut Bank was able to purchase a brand new CT scanner.
The new scanner is a General Electric Optima 660, 64-slice CT scanner. The CT scanner that it replaces was only a four slice. The new scanner comes with a patient table that can support up to 500 pounds and is easier to adjust.
“Not only is it faster and better, it has less radiation too. This is a triple win for our patients,” said Abby Sherwood, Director of Radiology at Northern Rockies Medical Center.
