CT & Johannesburg listed as playgrounds for the super-rich

CAPE TOWN – Cape Town and Johannesburg have been listed as playgrounds for the world’s super wealthy.

This year’s Knight Frank wealth report places Johannesburg and the Mother City in its top 40 rich list.

The international survey that looks at where the world’s super rich meet, work and play, reckons Johannesburg and Cape Town are the world’s top destinations significant to multimillionaires.

The 2015 report has Johannesburg at 28 and its coastal rival at 36.

However, the overall look for Africa isn’t as rosy as the continent places last on the list for where the ultra-wealthy are most likely to live.

Europe, North America and Asia round up the top three.
